Mein Frieden

Is it really all about:

„Getting connected - staying connected - beeing online - having fun?

All that in an unnatural fast beat, that s not men s natural speed of living.

Frieden machen - making peace ?

Einfach ins richtige Licht rücken, ins passende Regal stellen!

think your day

Gooooood morning (ups - 10:30 german)

(Vietnam pops up in my head-that s how it works, our good old brain/much more than a thinking APP;-)-

"Getting up – think your day a positive, interesting one!"

The good old alarm clock is ringing, a phone shouting?
- (of cause you have a fancy sound on your magic "far talking device" ?;-)

My favorite wake up sound is – nature s sounds.
Don t need to (re-) produce them—they re just there! For everybody who tunes in! like the clouds in the sky, the mighty fellows!

The birds struggling in the garden underneath the bedroom window for a piece of fruit or some corns, lightning and rolling thunder in the distance (OK I only wake up, if the thunder reaches earthquake dimensions), the rain using our roof as a percussion instrument (my favorit), old lady dog Carlotta barking childishly in her dreams or awaking by hearing a small guy (mouse, marder;-) beneath the roof isolation, you listen in – you ll get a great wake up sound
nature s voices – they make my day!
It works everywhere! You makle this sound a nice one for you – by your "Bauchgefühl"!
– even the traffic noise and horns/sirenes in the big apple is quite some wonderful alarm clock-you wake up with pictures un your head – movie szenes, fire trucks racing/cops chasing (you ever were on a "ride along" with a police officer or a fire fighter (my personal heroes-Andrea C did just become one herself-incredible!- but you can/machet) Different szenes of course pop up in all the different heads in all the diff countries , in all the diff cities…. /OK sh won t walk into your s no swaet!! What a great apparatus, the human brain. Ah-do you know (m)any people who are able to use it s full capacity? To play the full scale? Hm…. It s designed to still provide an exellent tool in the far future – may be out in the universe , on a strange looking and smelling oplanet, with completely diff sounds;-)
Even for the HB s in a million years from know-a genius design i d say!! Steve and Bill can bow theire head s – and they do! If you figure out (you can t just buy an APP) how to use brain s full range possibilities already today – GREAT!!
Be happy and if you like , show other HB s how you did it! – they won t listen? May be the are buisy with "more important" things - theire time will come – you bet!
Flyin' high induces "Demut" – lots of it! Everywhere!
Have a great Weekend
T.J.

PS
HB = human beeings

Dear friend of Trickle Up,

If you are considering making a contribution to help the people of Haiti, we would like to recommend Fonkoze, a Haitian microfinance and economic development organization that we know well and respect highly. You can learn more about them and contribute at Fonkoze’s Earthquake Relief & Rehabilitation Fund.

Fonkoze was Trickle Up's partner in Haiti when we had a program there, and we have continued to collaborate with them on a global project to develop innovative ways to help the world’s poorest and most vulnerable people. Fonkoze serves Haiti's poorest with a program similar to Trickle Up's, called Chemin Lavi Miyo (Road to a Better Life) program. After the immediate aftermath of the earthquake is addressed, Fonkoze will be an important contributor to rebuilding people's lives.

We hope you will consider Fonkoze. If you are considering making a gift to other organizations or relief efforts, we recommend consulting Charity Navigator’s guide on how best to contribute to the Haiti response.

You may wonder why we would ask you to give to an organization other than Trickle Up. The answer is simply that now is the time for the world to stand together to help the people of Haiti, and that each person and organization must do what it can during this crisis.

Sincerely,

Bill Abrams
President, Trickle Up
